Cloud Management Platforms (CMP), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Automation Frameworks are three major Hybrid Cloud tools that contribute towards decreasing of manual steps and increasing repeatability resulting in speed of deploying usable products. Without these tools and processes, deploying applications become unmanageable, inflexible and error-prone. However, it takes several “man years” installing, configuring, and integrating these tool-sets together.
This “misfortune” led us to an idea of integrating these tools into a single Common Cloud Core ecosystem as well as to come up with composable architecture to seamlessly stitching it into a unified platform (Unity).
Unity allows enterprises IT not only to operate, but to manage their environment, while giving developers safe and controlled environment for rapid development and deployment of applications.
To state it simply, Unity allows IT to have their cakes and eat it too, while bringing DevOps together in a meaningful way that doesn’t force one section of an enterprise to dictate behavior to another. That’s powerful!
- Unifies and Manages multiple heterogenous environments
- Accelerates rapid development & deployment of applications
ENTERPRISE-RICH & SECURE
Unity provides enterprises with mechanisms in their hybrid clouds to ensure security and manages how and when encryption is applied. For example, role-based access control, or limiting certain usage to certain roles — admin or end user or developer — is important in ensuring that information gets only into intended hands.
